I believe most of us have heard about this Burgundy palette and I read many good feedback. My first impression looking at this palette is wow and so much shimmer. The colour is also deep and pigmented just from the glimpse of it. Maybelline is a reputable drugstore makeup brand so I guess they make a good decision on this one!
For only 19$ – I got it from Woolworths, is the cheapest I could find comparing to Priceline and Chemist. The photo below is taken with 3 tone shades consist of the 1st row -second and third from right and 2nd row second shades from the palette. This colours reminded me of the Huda Obsession Mauve palette! This is how it look like if your under the white light or at day time.
The Next photo is taken under the yellow light and you can see the bright shimmering, looks; light but sophisticated. Sorry taken by the front cam bit blurry.
In my conclusion, this palette is good and i love the colours that comes with it. For everyday use, YES, recommended and don’t forget your eyeshadow primer prior to this eyeshadows application for longer used. Don’t forget to let me know how was your experience with this palette if you have tried! XOXO
Hello again! I’m pretty sure most of you would have heard about this palette for quite sometime. I had got this palette last year but didn’t manage to write anything about it and now Huda has discontinued this lovely palette. Ohh noooo!
I would say the packaging is nice as easy to display with that glass packaging. I can see through inside without opening. It consist of 18 shades and all are beautiful colours.
Some may not like shimmering but to me this depend on how much you put on your eyelid. If you slide a little it wont be too much and look just nice. Plus all this glittery shades is very creamy so a little goes a long way. Use your finger as its better than brush, the colour will blend gracefully so much better! As I mention in previous post, if you use eyeshadow primer, the result will be more tense and lasting. And sure, I love all the metallic colours.
How about the matte shades? To me it all blend well and smooth, very earthly shades but shade Bae is almost my skin tone, haha! This is a very good palette and is a must to have for a palette junkie. Everything in this palette is superb and i don’t see any reason to not like it. Some critics on the packaging but come on there’s a say inner beauty is better than the outer? LOL.
Lastly, I hope my friend is happy now she requested to see this palette. hehe..
Thanks for reading and tell me a piece of your mind. =P
Hello gorgeous! Ive seen lots of review on @toofaced Better than Sex Mascara; said thats its very goood
So here are my reviews:
I normally will get the mini size for trial.
The tiffany blue packaging is beautiful , 4.8g.
Upon opening the packaging, I’m surprised on how big is the brush applicator. For any eye product i think its quite big, and kinda hard to spread evenly among the lashes.
After applying to my eyelashes, I have to wait for a long time for it to dry and have to switch on the fan to dry the lashes. I also use a curler after and reapply again carefully. Some smudges though, because the wand is too big.
The wand is heavy and not practical. But it does make the lashes thicker and longer.
After a long day the fall out is minimal and I don’t actually look like panda.
The photo below is my lashes after 2 coating of the mascara. Lengthy and thick but doesn’t reach the corner of the eyes.
Will I repurchase? No, because there is much better one, and cheaper for the same price.
Good day everyone! Since my friends were asking how does my last weekend haul goes and wanted to see how good is this palette, I decided take some photo of it today. This is my First palette from @toofaced.
As the name Chocolate and Gold, the box is the same and the cased as well. I’ve been eyeing the Gold shades since the online launching by Mecca Maxima hoping it’s as good as some gold shades that i have. In love with the chocolate smell!
And my favourite four colour as below: Very pigmented!
If you love colours this palette if for you as it have all the colours that you can literally mix and match for any kind of look.
Other than my favourite four, the rest of the shades is so gorgeous for everyday use too! Technically the 3 matte shades can be use for based for all the pigmented shades; or on its own while rollin’ in dough can be use as a highlighter.
Considering all the shades in this Chocolate Gold Palette, I would say it can be use all year round. I hope @toofaced will continue this palette!
